MILAN – Coach Giovanni Stroppa’s team earned an important 3-2 win against Atalanta in the two teams’ Youth Championship clash. After an early missed chance by Beretta, Milan found themselves down by two as Minotti (3’) and Cortesi (36’) scored, the latter right when Milan attacked in waves looking for the equalizer. After the break, coach Stroppa sent on Verdi to replace Desole and in the 50th minute the talented youngster went down inside the Atalanta area to earn a penalty that Carmona converted. Palibrk entrance proved to be decisive: after replacing Ghiringhelli on 70 minutes, the striker first equalized in the 77th minute, then got the winner in the last minute of regulation to give Milan a 3-2 win.

MILAN - After today’s great victory over Atalanta , the Rossoneri Youth Team are ready for its TIM Youth Teams’ Cup semifinal second leg match against Fiorentina. The game is scheduled for 14.00 CET, Tuesday, at Vismara. Fiorentina won the first leg 2-1 with Ganz scoring for Milan.
