A cheque for €25,000 was presented to the European Institue of Oncology in Milan. Upon arrival, the three Rossoneri, together with the staff, visited the new ultrasound machine and the new IEO2 plant at the institute. They met patients and signed autographs. The three also held a mini press conference and together with the medical staff, they explained the purpose behind the club's donation. Research is being done on a new method of cancer treatment through high intensity untrasound, offering new oncological treatment opportunities. The use of Ultrasound means that the treatment can be far more precise than more traditional methods and would not require any surgical interventions.
