MILAN HIT FOUR AT SIENA

MILAN - Milan kept their hopes of winning the league title alive with an empathic 4-1 win at Siena.Antonio Cassano made his first start in six months while Kevin Prince Boateng was also a welcomed starter for the trip to Tuscany. It was Cassano who opened the scoring on 27 minutes when goalkeeper Brkic fumbled a low cross from Ibrahimovic and the striker was on hand to finish. The second arrived two minutes later and this time Ibrahimovic received a pass from Cassano and drove a powerful shot into the roof of the net from inside the area.Milan controlled the second half and could have extended their lead on a couple of occasions but were given a late scare when Bogdani slotted home after Abbiati had pushed away a shot. However, substitute Antonio Nocerino produced a stunning finish after running half the length of the pitch before evading two challenges inside the area to fire the ball home for number three.Ibrahimovic grabbed his second and Milan's fourth deep into added time when he was left with time inside the area to hit a low shot.Siena 1 - 4 Milan Cassano 27 (M), Ibrahimovic 29, 93 (M), Bogdani 83 (S), Nocerino 90 (M) Siena: Brkic; Vitiello, Rossettini, Terzi (Contini 36), Del Grosso; Grossi (Bogdani 65), Vergassola, Gazzi, Brienza; Larrondo (Bolzoni 54), Destro Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Bonera, Yepes, Mesbah; Gattuso (Nocerino 73), Van Bommel, Muntari (Aquilani 60); Boateng (El Shaarawy 80); Ibrahimovic, Cassano Ref: Brighi

SANNINO KNOWS SIENA MUST STEP UP

MILAN - Siena coach Giuseppe Sannino has been looking ahead to the match against Milan: "For us it is an honor to face a team of champions in the race for the Scudetto, we will try to give everything knowing that football can sometimes be unpredictable. We can play more freely to try and make an impression in front of our own fans. He are two or three degrees lower than them in terms of quality so we have to run more to make up for that. I would not say that Boateng is more important than the other Milan players because they can all make a difference."

STILL IN THE RUNNING

MILANELLO - Here is what Massimiliano Allegri had to say ahead of the match against Siena: "We are still in the running for the title and it pleases me to know that we are. It definitely depends on Juve but a victory tomorrow will keep the door open.
"It is difficult to judge how I have done, the club and the media will have to do that. My worry is facing these last four games in the best way possible, starting tomorrow at the Franchi. It will not be easy because Siena are in form and they are close to the number of points they reached last season.
"Thiago Silva was not called up because he does not feel ready to return yet so rather than risk him we will leave him behind. Boateng is 90 per cent set to start and we will decide on Cassano.
"I am not interested in rumours about who will replace me, up until May 13th I am the coach here. I look after the players but in terms of the coach it is up to the club to decide those things.
"Juventus are doing well and have not lost in the league. TYhey have scored 19 goals in the last seven matches and conceded just one. They deserve to be where they are but he lost points against Bologna and Fiorentina while enabled Juve to go ahead of us. For us to win the league we will have to do something exordinary and then Juve will have to slip up.
"Emaneulson had a bit of a back problem yesterday after taking a knock. He is still in pain today. Seedorf is feeling some pain after taking a knock to his calf. Robinho has not been in great shape and will sit out a round.
"We have dropped off since being knocked out of the Champions League although we bounced back up until Easter despite the numerous injuries we had. We paid a bit but that does not mean that we should stop playing to win and keep the pressure on Juve.
"I don't want to bore everyone with allusions and go on about what has happened. It seems difficult Juventus will drop two points the way they are playing but anything can happen in football and we have to go to Siena looking for three points so that Juve cannot relax."
