CLARENCE SEEDORF CLARIFIES

MILAN - Clarence Seedorf took the opportunity at the end of today’s press conference to clarify the situation following isolated media coverage of a discussion supposedly held after Milan-Bologna on Sunday at the San Siro: “It’s a delicate moment and there have been a few episodes that haven’t gone in our favour this season. I believe the team played a good second half against Bologna. We definitely need to believe in ourselves to end the season as best we can. Now we need to look for to win all games the games we have left starting with tomorrow against Genoa.I’m sorry that this thing has been made public. I’m not known as a man who takes his problems to the press and I never have been. If anything I’m known as a man who says things directly and I’ve often been criticized for this. I’ll end by saying that I believe it was right to explain my intentions.”

MILAN-GENOA: THE REAL MESSAGE

MILANO - As well as showing full support to Genoa's president Preziosi and to our former players Kaladze and Gilardino for the incidents that took place yesterday afternoon AC Milan would also like consolidate the peace between the two clubs.
A strong bond has developed between the two over the years and it must be stronger than what happened yesterday. In September 2010, before the final of the Youth Team Super Cup, Adriano Galliani asked for forgiveness from the parents of Vincenzo Spagnolo and the father of Vincenzo, Cosimo, asked that the two sets of supporters put to rest any ill feelings between them.
On the pitch, the two clubs have done everything to promote youth players which is the most important thing in football. Genoa have developed players like Merkel and are doing the same with Sampirisi while Milan are getting the best out of El Shaarawy. Milan-Genoa on Wednesday 25th, a national holiday in Italy, must to be a sporting and fair match and must convey the positive message that both clubs hve been promoting for years.
