WE HAVE TO GIVE EVERYTHING

(IN THE PHOTO: Allegri during the press conference)MILAN – Here’s what Massimilano Allegri had to say at the press conference ahead of Milan-Bologna tomorrow afternoon at the San Siro stadium:"Bologna have good technique, especially going forward. They’ll come here with no pressure on them at all and they’ll have nothing to lose. It’s a trap in disguise and we’ll have to go into it with focus, better than we did in the last two games and in the next two weeks, all matches will be decisive for the league. All players are available except Pato, Boateng, Inzaghi, Thiago Silva and Ambrosini.”“Compared to one week ago, we’ve had more time to prepare. Prior to that, luckily we were playing a game every three days and fro tomorrow we’ll still have two games a week so this week was useful to get some work done. We know how difficult the moment is, the game will have to be played with the right competitive determination to get the three points. We don’t need to end the season with regrets, without taking advantage of any eventual slip ups from Juventus. We’re all professionals, the contract renewals come after. What counts is our objective, the title. What Galliani said pleased me, but I never had any problems with the club. I speak with Galliani day by day and Berlusconi week by week. I spoke with him yesterday evening as well. He should be at the match tomorrow.”“We played some good games during the season. Against Fiorentina and Chievo, we didn’t play to our abilities but compared to last season, we’ve changed the lineups from game to game more often. Diamanti is in great form but up front they have other quality players and at the back they’re well organized. We’ll have to play better than the last two games, the weather is getting warmer and the rythym of the games will slow so we’ll have to do more technically. I don’t think Cassano will start even if he’s getting back into shape. He’ll be useful for us and the national side. As a playmaker, I have to decide between Emanuelson and Seedorf.”“I haven’t read the papers today and I don’t want to talk about things that have to do with Juventus and not me. I’m not convinced that the game against Roma will be the toughest one from here to the end of the season. Last season, we had a very tough game against Bologna. You never know in football and that’s why we have to give our all and then see if Juventus drop any points. There’s 18 point to be had and just one point between us. In football there are many situations that have made history. We have the chance to win all six of them but right now we have to think of Bologna and get back to the top of the table even if just for a couple of hours. We’ll need to stay calm in the end of season sprint and conserve mental energy.”

STEFANO PIOLI: "We’ll be up to the task"

MILANO - Stefano Pioli spoke to the press today ahead of tomorrow afternoon’s game at the San Siro:“The league has never before ended with 6 games in the 20 days. Every team still has their objective to reach, Milan are playing for the title against a team that has shown strength and continuity and they know they’ll have to win all their games. But for us too, this is the first of 6 finals. The title race? We need points and that’s all that counts. I expect Milan to be aggressive from the start but we trained well this week and we’re ready and up to the task.”

A.C. MILAN: BALANCE SHEET APPROVED

MILAN – The shareholders meeting between A.C. Milan S.p.A., Milan Entertainment S.r.l. and Milan Real Estate S.p.A. has ended with the approval of the balance sheet for the calendar year of 2011.The net value of the group has grown from €253.2 million to €266.8 million compared to last year and the end result represents a loss of €67.3 million compared to €69.8 million for 2010.Here’s what club CEO Adriano Galliani had to say at the shareholders meeting:"The losses have been completely covered by Fininvest, even though we’re number one in terms of commercial rights. I thank the president for his passion. The TV rights depend on UEFA and La Lega. In football, the big teams have to share income with the other sides and this is an anomaly. Without Fininvest, we couldn’t be an example of sporting excellence the world over.”“The desire is to reward the season ticketholder and the Curore Rossonero cardholders. I know that there was a high demand for tickets for the games against Barcelona and the system failed. We could promote a special sales period for the Champions League for season tickets holders as early as September, even for the eventual knock out games.”

A DREAM THAT CAME FROM FAR AWAY

MILAN - MILAN - "Our colors will be red, as we will be devils and black, like the fear that we’ll strike in our opponents.” Herbert Kilpin, 1899.Perhaps Kilpin, Milan’s co-founder was under the Italian sky when he thought of these words. It was within walking distance of Milan’s Duomo where a dream was born on that Milanese night. A dream that came from far away and in this city found the perfect soil to plant its roots. Here we are, the first of three videos that tell the red and black history of the club and this is the moment to show just how much of a part of this history you are. GOOD RELATIONSHIPS

MILAN – Just before entering the league headquarters in Via Rosselini for the Lega Serie A assembly today, Adriano Galliani spoke briefly to the gathered journalists: “The relationship between President Berlusconi and Allegri has always been fine. I believe that a president has the duty as well as the right to speak his mind to his coach, it would be strange if he couldn’t. Once again, the relationship has always been fine.”When asked about the comments made by Ibrahimovic to the Milan Channel on Tuesday, the club CEO said: “I knew about it. We have a good relationship and we speak almost every day.”
