The whistle blower from Marche will have Leonardo Camillucci and Alessandro Marinelli in support on the sidelines. The fourth official will be Luca Albertini. When the draw was made on May 21st, Filippo Galli, in charge of the youth sector of the rossoneri, stated about Juventus “We know about their strengths and how much they want to win the championship, but we’ll give everything on the pitch. Juventus won their group in style. Semi final? We obtained 53 points just as Inter did, and our team has values that are not just technical as they have proved themselves in difficult moments. The final talking will be done on the pitch, but we will certainly arrive motivated for this difficult fixture”.“When you get to this point” – Juventus coach Marco Baroni said – “you need to realize that every opponent is dangerous. Last year we saw Varese go in to the final and when I coached Siena a few years ago we were a whisper away from the scudetto. We will see a quality Milan side, but we have to think about ourselves. For two months we’ve known about this match and we’re well prepared, even without those away playing for Italy”.
The winner between the rossoneri and the bianconeri will meet (in Gubbio on June 6th), the winner between Inter and Palermo. On the other side of the draw, Roma-Varese and Lazio-Torino. The final is also in Gubbio, on Saturday 9th June.

ANCELOTTI: WE’LL GET BACK ON OUR FFEET

MILAN - "We’re special when it comes to reacting. Emilia has a strong heart and all of this tragedy, the dead, the injured, the lost, the dispersed, the fallen factories; they scare us, they make us cry but we know how to get out of this disaster. Now the whole country must help Emilia just as often Emilia has helped others”.Carlo Ancelotti had this to say in an open letter published in Corriere dello Sport: “I don’t know if there’s any damage done to my home in Felegara – writes Ancelotti, who found out about the earthquake through his daughter Katia – it was spared after the first one. But I know what happened in Cavezzo, Mirandola, Medolla, San Felice sul Panaro and Concordia which are all towns I know well. As a child I went to play on those football pitches and I went to school in Carpi and Modena. They’re strong, hardworking people who live calm lives, people who are now suffering but who know how to react and get back on their feet. The response from football was immediate and it was right not to play the international friendly. Football can help and my part won’t ever be missing. Best wishes to my land in this difficult time”.

DAVIDE DI GANNARO: "CONDOLENCES TO MODENA AND THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY"

MILAN - Davide Di Gennaro, young Rossoneri player on loan at Modena this year spoke to the Milan Channel yesterday: “It was a powerful experience. The people of Modena are hard working and dignified but it’s obvious that the earthquake was strong and the people are in difficulty. I was In Modena preparing for a friendly but obviously the game didn’t go ahead. Milan? I’m waiting, my contract with the club ends next year and we’ll be talking to the club soon.”

ANTONIO CASSANO: ITALY’S NUMBER 10

MILAN – The number 10 shirt has an even stronger link with the Rossoneri. From Gianni Rivera to Antonio Cassano. National team coach Cesare prandelli honors Milan and Antonio Cassano. The Milan forward will have that number on his back for Euro 2012. The last time it happened was in 1974 with Gianni Rivera.Milan’s list of number 10 is long and illustrious. From Roberto Baggio who wasn’t playing for the Italian side during his time at Milan to foreigners of the caliber of Schiaffino, Gullit, Savicevic, Kakà (a true number 10 despite the 22 he wore), Rui Costa and Seedorf while Roberto Donadoni used to wear the number 7 for Italy. That the number 10 for Italy will lead to the number 10 for Milan can’t be taken for granted, but it can’t be denied that Antonio Cassano’s season started with the captain’s armband for Italy against Spain in Bari and was followed up by powerful performances for Milan. After his operation, the player now ends his season with number 10 on his back, a number with a history.

He still has something to learn but at Milan he’ll be able to do that and become a great keeper. The Brazilian market? People only talk about Ganso, Neymar, Lucas and Damiao but don’t forget Dedè, a Vasco da Gama defender, he plays with Thiago Silva for the national side and he’s ready to make the move to European football”.Serginho also made some flattering comparisons for Milan’s Brazilian centre back: “Paolo Madini who is here with us tonight was a player at the level of Franco Baresi, but Thiago is up there too. He’s had three great seasons with Milan and he’ll be able to make history with the club like Maldini and Baresi. He still has a lot to win with the Milan jersey”.
