YOUTH SECTOR MARCHING ON

Pescara also won promotion and in their side was another Rossoneri youth star Simone Romagnoli.All three won Youth TIM Cup with Milan in April 2010 which crowned a new era for the academy inaugurated by Adriano Galliani and Filippo Galli of July 1st, 2009. In the youth team then were Merkel and Strasser who have both graduated to the first team.Since the 2009-2010 season, the youth side have always qualified for the Final Eight . From that season the youngest youth teams, the Berretti and Giovanissimi Nazionali in 2010, and Allievi Nazionali in 2011 would also taste success. At this time the situation in 2011-2012 is as follows: - The Youth team awaits the today's draw for the Final Eight in Gubbio - The Allievi Nazionali have won their group and will play the Final Eight at Chianciano Terme - The Giovanissimi Nazionali qualified in their tournament with a 2-1 win over Genoa and will now face Vicenza for a place in the last eight.
