MILAN - The Via Del Mare Stadium is still a cursed venue for Milan as the Rossoneri haven’t won in Lecce since January 2002. This evening the hosts held Milan to a 1-1 draw, meaning that coach Allegri’s team lost another two points after drawing with Udinese last week. Today, Milan faced a very organised team, solid in defence. De Canio prepared his team well to stop their prestigious opponents and in fact, the Rossoneri had difficulties creating chances, especially in the first half. After the break, Milan finally broke the stalemate thanks to a magnificient Ibrahimovic strike. It was the Swede's eleventh goal in Serie A and his fifteenth goal in total this season. But Lecce didn’t give up and first hit the post with Di Michele, then one minute later found the equaliser as Olivera hit the back of the net following a corner. Nonetheless, the Rossoneri are still top of the league with 41 points, holding a four-point advantage over Napoli and Lazio.Milan collected five points in their last four games, as their defeat against Roma was followed by a win at Cagliari and draws against Udinese and now Lecce.MATCH REPORTLecce played with a defensive mentality in the first half, closing spaces down and thus making it difficult for Milan to create scoring chances. After a Gattuso shot (20’) and a header from Pato (40’), Ibrahimvic had Milan’s best chance in the first half in the 42nd minute, as it took four Lecce defenders to stop him in the Giallorossi’s penalty box.It was none other than the Milan to number 11 who broke the deadlock early in the second half! The Swedish ace scored a real gem on 49 minutes, beating Rosati with a spectacular left-footed shot from outside the area.Ibra simply can’t stop scoring, as his strike against the Southern minnows was his eleventh in Serie A and fifteenth in total this season.Seedorf could have made it 2-0 for the Rossoneri in the 60th minute, but instead of shooting, the Dutchman tried to set up Pato, thus allowing the Lecce defence to clear. One minute later Amelia denied second half substitute Giacomazzi, who tried to equalise with a cheeky lob. In the 36th minute, not even the Rossoneri number 1 was enough to save Milan, but luckily for coach Allegri’s team, Di Michele’s shot hit the post. However, Lecce didn’t give up, and their efforts paid off one minute later, as Olivera, totally unmarked in the area, fired home following a corner. In the final period of the game Milan attacked in waves, but to no avail. First, Seeodrf’s shot got deflected wide, then Rosati made a save on Ibrahimovic after the Swede had taken a fine pass from substitute Cassano.LECCE-MILAN 1-1 (0-0)Scorers: Ibrahimovic (M) 49, Olivera (L) 82LECCE: Rosati; Tomovic, Gustavo, Fabiano, Mesbah; Vives (Piatti 81); Munari, Olivera, Grossmuller (Giacomazzi 57); Jeda (Corvia 68), Di Michele.Substitutions: Benassi, Donati, Ferrario, Chevanton, Giacomazzi, Piatti, Corvia.Coach: De CanioMILAN: Amelia; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Bonera; Gattuso, Ambrosini, Flamini (Yepes 92); Seedorf; Pato (Cassano 72), IbrahimovicSubstitutes: Roma, Yepes, Antonini, Strasser, Merkel, Oddo, Cassano.Coach: Allegri Referee: De MarcoYellow cards: Nesta (M) 73, Gattuso (M) 77, Tomovic (L) 90, Mesbah (L) 92Injury time: 3 minutes
