MILAN - Antonio Cassano played 45 minutes in Italy’s 1-1 draw, away against Germany. Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi scored late in the second half for the Azzurri to cancel out Klose’s first half goal. Milan ace Cassano did well, twice coming close to scoring in the first half.
BRAZIL AND SWEDEN IN FRIENDLY ACTION
MILAN - France overcame Brazil 1-0 at San Denis as the South Americans had to play one man down for the best part of the game following Hernanes’ dismissal at the end of the first half. Thiago Silva was on the field for the whole 90 minutes, while Robinho and Pato were substituted late in the second half, in the 70th and 85th minute respectively. Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic’s Sweden drew 1-1 with Ukraine in Cyprus. The Milan star played one half.
