HENTY WANTS TO PLAY ALONGSIDE BALOTELLI

MILAN - Youth team star Ezekiel Henty has set his sight on one day playing alongside Mario Balotelli in the first team.
The young striker scored an amazing solo effort against Varese at the weekend where he ran almost the full length of the pitch and he said: "When I got the ball my only thought was to run towards the goal and score. Weah was a great player and when he scored a goal like this against Verona he won the Golden Ball. I have not been 100% but I have to thank the Milan Academy who have helped me develop. When I was in Nigeria I never thought I would play for Milan and I have to thank Michele Dal Cin for bringing me here. It would wonderful to play alongside Balotelli, he is a brilliant player and my objective is to play in the first team."

MILAN REACHES 14 MILLION ON FACEBOOK

MILAN - Milan's Facebook page keeps going from strength to strength.
The rossoneri have now reached an incredible 14 million users on Facebook (@ www.facebook.com/acmilan) which just goes to show how strong the Milan brand is and how popular the club are internationally.
The 14 million 'likes' originate from all over the globe and is further proof that the rossneri are the leaders in Italy with their Facebook account as they now move to number five in the international table.
The goal of the club is to engage and involve the fans as much as possible and much of the content published on the page comes directly from the supporters and is often translated into a number of different languages.
Milan digital strategy is continually evolving and is increasingly based on social medias. As well as Facebook, Milan also have accounts with Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Google+. On top of that Milan also have accounts with the Chinese social networking platforms Sina.com and Tencent.

PRIMAVERA, MILAN-CESENA: FINAL SCORE 2-1

MILAN - Milan beat Cesena 2-1 in the rescheduled match from round 14 of the Primavera TIM championship. The rossoneri were leading 2-0 at half time with goals from Aniekan on 10 minutes and Henty just before the half time whistle. In the second half, Aldo Dolcetti's lads failed to find a third goal but the visitors only closed the gap in the 92nd minute with a goal from Filipucci. With this win Milan now move up to 34 points in 17 matches and are now just two points away from second place held by Chievo, the last automatic qualifying spot for the Final Eight.

TIME TO SCORE

MILAN - Cagliari have always brought the Milan midfielders a certain amount of luck.Back in the 2004/05 season and the 2007/08 season, Andrea Pirlo scored decisive goals. In January 2011 Rodney Strasser hit the back of the net while in December 2011 Antonio Nocerino opened the scoring. All against the Sardinian outfit.Massimo Ambrosini has not played a competetive match since Juventus-Milan in the Italian TIM Cup on January 9th. He has been training with the squad on a regular basis, was on the bench for the game against Udinese on Sunday evening and should wear the captain's armband once again this Sunday against Cagliari because Riccardo Montolivo is suspended. And Massimo Ambrosini is also a midfielder. A midfielder searching for his first goal since January 29th 2012. A goal he scored against Cagliari!

PREPARING FOR CAGLIARI

The Milan squad held a morning training session at Milanello in preparation for the match against Cagliari on Sunday. The players started the session at 11.30am.Massimilano Allegri condcuted a warm up session for the first 30 minutes, with muscle and stretching exercises. Then the squad moved to the raised pitch to continue with some physical preparation. The players were divided into three groups and the conducted 15 minutes of speed, agility and reactivity. Then the players worked with the ball for the following 15 minutes, carrying out some ball possession exercises, followed by some intense two-against-two and three-against-three exercises. The session came to an end with a match.Philippe Mexes conducted part of the session with his teammates (he worked on possession) while Pazzini, Boateng, Bonera and Salamon all worked apart.Tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm, Milan will play a friendly against AC Sant'Angelo from Group B of the Serie D.

MY BIG CHANCE

MILANELLO - Cristian Zaccardo finally held his first press conference following his move to Milan over the January transfer window from Parma. The defender has yet to make his debut for the rossoneri but has already settled down in his new surroundings."I feel very positive, the group of lads are great and the team are very good. The position in the table is now better, we are just three points behind third place and we are level with Inter. We have Balotelli who is world class. I am getting to know everyone although I already knew all the Italian players. I just want to be ready for when the coach needs me. This club leaves nothing to chance. There is more pressure and more responsibility but these things make you feel a more important player."For Zaccardo the next two games are vital to reach the derby in the best of shape."On paper the next two games are games we can win and we want to get to the derby with two wins in the bag. We have cut the gap on the teams that were above us." Cristian spent almost four seasons at Parma before the call came from the rossoneri and he wasn't the only signing in the January transfer window."Mario does some great things in training and he will very useful, I think we have the best strike force in Italy. I have put myself on the line, I know that here it will be a lot harder to get a game than at Parma. To come here I sacrificed a year of my contract and I have signed until June 2016."Zaccardo is a versatile defender who feels comfortable playing both in the middle or out wide depending on the needs of the coach."Everybody wants to play every game. I train hard and I want to be ready for when my time comes. I started my career as a right back but over the years I have adapted my game to play in the middle. It is great to be able to train with quality players. We have a very young attack that can do very well. El Shaarawy is extremely quick, Balotelli is a complete player while Niang is an excellent player for his age, and that's not forgetting the likes of Robinho, Pazzini and Bojan."The 31-year-old hopes to mirror the career path of one of his former teammates in Wolfsburg, Andrea Barzagli."I hope to do what Barzagli did. We have had very similar careers and I hope to follow in his footsteps seeing that now he is a first team choice for Juventus. After the World Cup I played a good season at Palermo, then came the chance to play in Germany although I never managed to play with any consistency and that is why I decided to come back to Italy, to Parma. I thought I would end my career there but then this opportunity came along and I couldn't say no."There are no doubts about who he used to support as a kid. "I supported Milan, I grew up watching the Milan of the Dutch players."
