Man Utd boss Ferguson hails Neville after superb performance
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted with the performance of skipper Gary Neville in last night's victory over AC Milan.
Neville, at 35, kept Ronaldinho quiet and also set up two of United's four goals.
"He's a remarkable man," Ferguson said. "When you've been out of the game [with injury] for a year and half it's not easy to come back and play every week at the age of 34 and now 35. He succeeded because of his will to succeed and that's really what Gary Neville is all about."

Man Utd’s Park not concerned with next Champions League opponent
Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung says he is not concerned with who the team meets next in the European Champions League.
After the Red Devils trounced Italian giants AC Milan 4-0 last night to go through to the quarter-finals 7-2 on aggregate, the South Korea captain wasn’t bothered with who they drew next.
“It doesn't matter who we are up against in the quarter-finals. It is interesting to see how the draw goes and we will just prepare for our team after that,” he said.
Park played a major role in United’s victory at Old Trafford, keeping Milan danger man Ronaldinho quiet and managing to find the back of the net for Manchester’s third goal.
“I had a great game and it's always good to score at Old Trafford - especially in the Champions League - so I'm very happy,” he added.
“We didn't start the game expecting to get four goals. It was quite a tight game then we scored the first goal.”

Man Utd skipper Neville hails Park for keeping Ronaldinho silent
Manchester United captain Gary Neville says he found marking AC Milan ace Ronaldinho EASY thanks to Park Ji-sung.
Neville, who was barely troubled by Brazilian star Ronaldinho, acknowledged the role Park played in Wednesday night’s win.
“I don’t know if it was easy out there [against Ronaldinho], but you have to look at the work Ji-sung Park did, stopping the forwards getting the service. A player like Ronaldinho is difficult to mark if he gets good service but I was able to get close to him,” Neville told manutd.com.

Ronaldinho: AC Milan have plan to silence Man Utd’s Rooney
Ronaldinho admits AC Milan have a plan to silence Manchester United star Wayne Rooney tonight.
<!--break-->
Rooney netted twice in Manchester United's 3-2 first leg win at the San Siro and will play tonight after recovering from a knee injury.
Milan ace Ronaldinho told The Sun: "Rooney was incredible in the first match.
"We have watched videos of the game and the key to victory for us will be stopping him receiving the ball close to our penalty area.
"If we can stop him our own options soar. We can beat United.
"As far as I am concerned, this match is like the Champions League final itself.
"I see a very attacking game with many goals."

Berlusconi demands passionate AC Milan at Man Utd
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is demanding passion from his players ahead of tonight's Champions League second-leg clash at Manchester United.
Milan must overcome a 3-2 deficit to progress.
Italian PM Berlusconi told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I won't give you percentages, I'll only say that Milan can do it if they believe. And Milan believe in themselves because they fear no team in the world, not even Manchester United. Actually, it's the others who have to fear us.
“We have to play a game worthy of the great Milan because it will take a possessed Milan in which everyone lifts their game without the minimum distraction until the last second.”
Asked to reveal who he thinks will prove decisive, Berlusconi said: “Ronaldinho, because he is a man of great class, capable of making the difference with his magic.
“But he has to convince himself into playing further forward.”

AC Milan to face Man Utd without Pato
AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is struggling to make tonight's Champions League second-leg clash at Manchester United.
The Brazilian is a major doubt after pulling a thigh muscle 10 days ago, but is in the squad travelling to Old Trafford.
“I don't want to be the kind of director who gives the line-up the day before, but I think Pato is unlikely to make it,” confessed Milan chief Adriano Galliani.
“In that case I think that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Marco Borriello and Ronaldinho will play.”

Man Utd fullback Rafael: AC Milan selection proved manager trusts me
Manchester United fullback Rafael da Silva was thrilled to face AC Milan star Ronaldinho last month.
The Champions League first-leg win was a huge test for the youngster.
“It was a great privilege for me,” Rafael tells United Review about being selected to start in the 3-2 first-leg win in Italy. “It made me feel that the manager really trusts me by giving me the opportunity to play in this type of match. It’s a great feeling knowing that the manager believes in my ability to play at this level.
“Last year I had a lot of good opportunities to play in the first-team, so I was frustrated earlier this season to be injured because I thought that I would have a big chance to try to play in the team a lot this year,” he adds. “But now I have recovered and I am back playing, I feel in good shape.”

Man Utd ace Scholes: AC Milan goal WORST of my career
Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes says his goal at AC Milan last month was the WORST of his career!
<!--break-->
Trailing to Ronaldinho's early opener and lucky not to be out of the tie after being completely outplayed, Manchester United managed to reach the interval level at the San Siro after an outrageous piece of good fortune.
As he attempted to get on the end of Antonio Valencia's cross, Scholes completely missed his kick and was as amazed as anyone to see the ball shoot off his standing left leg and fly past Dida into the far corner.
It proved to be the catalyst for an imperious second-half display which saw United charge into a 3-1 lead before Clarence Seedorf gave the Italian giants some hope of recovering the position at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
"That goal was probably the worst one I have ever scored," said Scholes, who bagged his 100th in the Premier League on Saturday with a late winner at Wolves.
"It is easy enough to admit. I meant to hit it with my right foot and the ball came off my left.
"But a goal is a goal and I will take it. It was a goal we needed because after the first 20 minutes we could have been three or four down.
"From then on it always looked like we were going to win the game."

AC Milan coach Leonardo: Ronaldinho now best we have
AC Milan coach Leonardo says Ronaldinho deserves to go to the World Cup with Brazil.
<!--break-->
The former World Player of the Year has been excellent this season, creating 15 goals for his teammates.
Speaking to ANSA, Leo said: “Ronaldinho has spent two or three years in obscurity, but today he is the most important player at Milan and Dunga should call him up.
“Ronaldinho has a wonderful story. He was the best. He personified the Brazilian that everyone loves.
“But then he had some difficulties. He was silly. He gave up. He stopped training and lived two or three years in the shadows.
“Now he is training again. He works hard and is concentrated. He is a leader.”

Ronaldinho insists AC Milan can shock Man Utd
Ronaldinho is confident AC Milan can shock Manchester United tomorrow night at Old Trafford.
The Rossoneri need to overturn a 3-2 deficit if they are to progress to the Champions League Quarter-Finals.
“It will be a difficult match, but nothing is impossible,” Ronaldinho explained.
“I think it's going to be a very beautiful match. We need a positive result so we'll be playing for the victory and they'll be playing at home with their own style because their Coach always makes them play that way.
“It has all the ingredients needed to be a great match. Milan have a strong tradition in the Champions League, so when Milan play in a competition like this everybody knows that Milan will be Milan.
“When I played for Barcelona we met them in the Champions League, so I know what it's like to see the Milan shirt as an opponent.
“We knew they were a team with history and now I'm wearing the shirt I can feel Milan's strength.”

Beckham Snr will be at Man Utd to see David play
David Beckham's Dad will be at Old Trafford this week to see his AC Milan playing son against Manchester United.
Ted Beckham was at the San Siro to see his son’s Serie A side lose 3-2 in a Champions League round of 16 first leg against Manchester United.
But it was always the thought of a return for the ex-England captain to the ground where he forged his name which has been simmering ever since the draw was made before Christmas.
Ted, a life-long United fan, admitted to the Sunday Express: “I was excited when the draw was made. I texted David straight away. He was gobsmacked. We both were because we couldn’t wait to be involved at Old Trafford.
“It’s going to be special because David spent so much time there. He is eager to see everyone at Old Trafford. It’s been a special place for him. When he left United I was devastated. Returning will be great because he’s still a United supporter. He will be choked by it all.
“He loves it in Milan. He enjoys the football and playing alongside players like Ronaldinho. But there are a lot of good players at Old Trafford. It will be a weird feeling. Half of me wants AC Milan to win while the other half will be rooting for Manchester United.”
