EURO 2008: YELLOW CARDS CANCELED AFTER QUARTER FINALS

MILAN - Starting from Euro 2008 the bookings will be canceled not after the group stages like before, but after the quarter finals. The Uefa Committee has decided that. "We changed the rule so the best player can play in the final," said Uefa President Michel Platini. The new rule will apply to those who have received a yellow card in the group stages or in the quarter finals. If the yellow cards are 2 the player won't be able to play the next match.
