A team made up of Milan's former glories left Italian shores for a week in the East. Two games are scheduled, two very important matches that involve Milan Foundation. the first of these matches will be in Sendai, Japan, a city of roughly 1 million inhabitants and capital of the Tohoku province in the Miyagi district. There the former Milan players will visit some stores sponsored by the rossoneri and then on August 31st they will play a friendly match against a local team. The proceeds from the game will all go to the victims of the earthquake this spring.
The second stop for the squad is in Jakarta, in Indonesia, where the Milan Glories will be playing on September 4th in another charity match, also against a local team where the proceeds will be shared between the club and Milan Foundation.
