MILANO - Milan overcame Torino 2-1 in the last game of the Final Eight group stages and Napoli beat Empoli 1-0 which means that the rossoneri finished top of their group on full points.
Now in the semi-final, Roberto Bertuzzo's boys will now face Inter (and not Juventus) on Tuesday 26th June. The nerazzurri were penalised late last night for making a total of eight substitutions (instead of seven as the rules state) and were pushed down to second place in their group by the organiser. That means that the semi-final will now be Milan-Inter. The rossoneri were the only team in the compettion to win all three of their group games.
