ADRIANO GALLIANI: "Ibrahimovic like Paolo Rossi"

April 3rd, 2012 No comments
MILANO – Here’s what Adriano Galliani had to say to journalists in Barcelona today ahead of the big match: “I dreamt of Messi last night….just kidding. We’re happy to be here in this beautiful city playing in the Champions League. Cruijff said that Barca will win? He was a great player and he can say what he wants. I saw his Ajax team and together with Sacchi’s Milan and this Barcelona side, they were the greatest teams of the last 50 years. As far as the pitch at the San Siro goes, Guardiola was right, it’s a bad pitch but we’re the ones who are penalised as we play there in the league and in Europe. I hope that Inter will go along with us in wanting to relay the pitch with natural and synthetic materials, but we’re always the ones who pay the highest price. Ibra is an ex Barca player and I saw him extremely focused and motivated and of course we’re close to Sarria where Italy won the world cup in 1982. Let’s hope Ibra can emulate Paolo Rossi. The favorites for this evening? I’ll tell you at 10.30."
